EICK Global STEM Academy is a small childcare program in Monroe, OH. We are professional, creative, and our goal is to develop innovative thinkers and the design process in our students.
We are looking for a dedicated and dependable Teacher Assistant who is a team player to provide a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for our students. The ideal candidate will be comfortable supporting children of varying ages.
9:30am - 5:30pm.
Monday - Friday with 30-minute lunch.
$17/hour base; Education and experience will be considered.
Part-time hours may be available.

The ideal candidate will:
- Have a passion for teaching young children.
- Have the ability to implement creative and engaging lessons and activities that meet the needs of all students and promote learning and development.
- Be comfortable working with varying backgrounds and age groups.
- Be willing to step in to assist each classroom as needed.
- Be willing to lead a classroom when the Lead Teacher is absent.
- Have the ability to foster positive relationships with parents/guardians and colleagues.
- A valid CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
- Must pass background checks and drug screenings.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must have a minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent education.
Responsibilities:
- Implement lesson plans for children using The Creative Curriculum.
- Supervise and monitor the safety of all children.
- Be responsible for diaper changes and toilet training as applicable.
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow.
- Organize activities that develop motor skills, social skills, and problem-solving skills.
- Assist with activities of daily living.
